The purpose of this handbook is to provide a guide for those who are just getting started in the creation of open educational resources (OER). Significant progress has been made by many in the open education movement to help acclimatise novices. Some of these notable projects include Composing free and open online educational resources and OLCOS's tutorials. This handbook project is meant to complement other such projects.
