Adding a Wiki-Signature is highly recommended for:

  • additions to talk pages,
  • writing notes by using "Template:Note",
  • personal messages you add in other's page.


Instructions for Adding your signature

STEP 1. In published mode, click on "edit" tab (top of wiki-page)

1. On page in "published" mode click on "edit" tab (top of wikipage)




STEP 2. Now you are in edit mode

2. Now your are in "Edit" Mode. Notice the difference?




STEP 3. Write any text in the editing box

3. Write some text.




STEP 4. Click on "signature" button (edit tool bar)

4.Click on "Signature" button




STEP 5. Signature wiki code is automatically added

3. Two hyphens and four tildes are stamped in "Edit" mode.
You can also directly write this wikicode.




STEP 6. Click on "Save page" button (bottom of wiki page)

6. Click on "Save page" button.




STEP 7.Your signature shows up followed by a date/time stamp

7. Back in "Published" Mode your Signature shows up.

Personalizing your wiki-signature

STEP 1. Click on "my preferences" tab (on top-right of wiki-page)

2. A special page named "Preferences" will be opened on Tab "User Profile" by default.
