WikiEducator es una comunidad en evolución, creada con la intención de fomentar la colaboración en:

* la planificación de proyectos educativos unidos al desarrollo de contenido de libre acceso;
* el desarrollo de contenido de libre acceso en Wikieducator para su uso en e-learning;
* la construcción recursos educativos de libre acceso (OERs) que expliquen cómo crear OERs.
